만성 골수염, Chronic Osteomyelitis

만성 골수염은 심한 지속적, 때로는, 신체불능 상태로 이어지는 골과 골수 감염병이다. 치료하기가 상당히 어렵고 재발하는 경우가 흔하다. 급성 골수염을 부적절하게 치료할 때나 치료를 하지 않았을 때 만성 골수염이 생긴다. 골수염으로 기능 부전 뼈를 외과적으로 제거하고 장기간 항생제로 치료한다. 감염된 뼈를 제거한 후에 복구치료를 하고 그 주위에 있는 근육, 피부 성형수술도 동반할 때가 많다. 또 세균 감염, 골절, 농루가 생길 수 있다. 골 X선 사진 검사, MRI, 스캔 등으로 진단한다. Chronic Osteomyelitis• Chronic osteomyelitis is a bone and bone marrow infection that leads to severe, persistent, and sometimes disabling conditions. • It is quite difficult to treat and relapses are common. • Chronic osteomyelitis occurs when acute osteomyelitis is improperly treated or left untreated. • With osteomyelitis, dysfunctional bone is surgically removed and treated with long-term antibiotics. • After removing the infected bone, repair treatment is performed, and the surrounding muscles and skin are often accompanied by plastic surgery. • Bacterial infections, fractures, and pustules can also occur. • Diagnosis is made by bone X-ray examination, MRI, or scan. |
